LIMITED WARRANTY
Thiink Sverige AB (hereinafter referred to as "Thiink") warrants, subject to the exceptions and limitations outlined herein, that Thiink products will perform in accordance with the specifications and limitations described in the respective product datasheets.
1. WARRANTY
1.1. Thiink warrants that its products shall meet the individual product specifications and be free from defects or errors.
1.2. Thiink shall only be obligated to remedy faults or deviations occurring within the warranty period specified on the respective datasheets.
1.3. Thiink products and systems must be installed by certified personnel or third-party installers. Only individuals holding the necessary local certifications, such as certified installers, and who have completed the required Thiink training shall be deemed certified installers.
2. CLAIMS AND REMEDIES
2.1. In the event of defects or deviations, the customer shall notify their installer within two (2) weeks of the issue arising and provide reasonable evidence of the alleged defect. Failure to lodge a claim within this two-week period shall result in the forfeiture of the customer’s right to submit a warranty claim.
2.2. Thiink shall have a reasonable period to remedy the issue or replace defective products and reserves the right to arrange for an on-site inspection if necessary.
2.3. To enable the installer to determine whether the issue pertains to the Thiink equipment or the installation itself, customers should provide the following information when making a claim:
Information about all defective products, including product model numbers, serial numbers, installation dates, and fault dates.
Installation details, including the brand, model, number of solar panels, and other connected products.
Error messages on the display (if applicable) and descriptions of the faults.
Original proof of purchase for the energy storage system.
2.4. If a claim is received within the warranty period and a product defect covered under the warranty is identified, Thiink may, at its discretion, resolve the issue through one of the following methods:
Resolve the issue by reconfiguring or updating the software.
Repair the product by replacing parts.
Replace the product with a new or refurbished product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original, or with an upgraded model that is functionally equivalent or superior to the original.
2.5. If the unit is replaced under the warranty period, the remaining warranty period shall automatically transfer to the replacement unit.
2.6. If it is proven that the issue was caused by an improper installation, Thiink reserves the right to contact the original installer and request that they resolve the issue. Should the original installer fail to address the problem, subsequent costs may be charged to the original installer.
2.7. Thiink reserves the right to charge a handling fee if a product is deemed outside the scope of this limited warranty.
2.8. Replaced products become the property of Thiink and must be returned to Thiink. Instructions for returning products shall be provided to the customer as part of the claims process.
2.9. If the customer does not return the allegedly defective product within four (4) weeks of receiving the replacement unit, or if no damage is found upon inspection of the returned product, Thiink reserves the right to invoice the customer for the replacement, shipping, and administrative costs.
3. WARRANTY COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS
3.1. Thiink’s limited warranty covers only the cost of hardware materials required to restore the unit to operational status.
3.2. Thiink’s limited warranty does not cover any other costs, including but not limited to compensation for direct or indirect damages caused by defective equipment or other facilities in the energy system, including electric vehicles, heating sources, batteries, inverters, power loss during product downtime, or other economic consequential damages.
3.3. If a Thiink product is sold in one country but installed in another without prior written approval from Thiink, the warranty shall be void.
3.4. Failure to complete or correctly complete the installation checklist during installation, either via the installer app or using Thiink’s standard installation checklist, may void the warranty, and Thiink shall not be liable for any resulting issues or damages.
