Thiink is an innovative control system for your home that optimizes energy usage, lowering costs substantially.
Thiink Solutions
Cost savings
Using the energy in a smarter way by utilizing the continuously changing energy prices over time, where consumption is moved to the cheaper part of the day, storing energy when the energy is cheap and using the stored energy when it is expensive. The distribution of the load also governs for a lower max load, which can save money on a lower tariff.
Environment
Using less energy requires less fossil fuel etc. to be used, hence saving the environment. Also, by utilizing the energy from solar panels in a smarter and more efficient way also minimizes the environmental footprint. Less waste, better world.
Awareness
Getting a good view of where and how the energy is used is a very important step to get a better awareness and take actions to minimize the waste and cost of energy. Delaying the start of a washing machine a few hours can make a huge difference in cost, without sacrificing the needed features.

What is Thiink Energy?
The system integrates with the major energy consumers and producers in your home, such as Solarpanel, Energy management systems (batteries), Heaters and coolers, Boilers, Heatpumpts etc and distributes the usage and load of energy in a smart way without the need of user inputs.
The system uses AI to forecast the energy needs and finds the best way to optimize the energy usage and distribute loads over time to minimize energy costs.
We integrate with different vendors and brands, breaking the silos between the systems in your home to make the components work together in a better way than they do on their own. Continuous development and new integration will cover for a long-term commitment with new and upcoming devices, and also enable you to start small and grow as you go.
All information from the system is conveniently presented in one app, which makes it easy to get a good overview of where energy is used and what the cost and savings are. It is easy to find unnecessary waste of energy by a quick glance in the app.
Thiink Energy, how?
Maximize self-use – utilize solar power to charge vehicles and store energy to use or sell later instead of selling to poor rates. Energy can also be stored in the form of heated water, raised temperatures etc.
Lower energy consumption – Smarter temperature control governs for a more economical way of heating the house and water. Minimize waste of energy by forecasting energy needs and availability. Avoid waste by not consuming unnecessary energy while no one is at home.
Lower energy cost – Utilize the cheaper hours of the day to store energy for later use. Control consumption to cheaper hours of the day.
Energy insights – By monitoring and visualizing the energy usage, the end user can easily see where potential waste of energy is and take smart actions to lower cost and energy use. Get notifications when the prices are low or high.
System
The Thiink system is a cloud base system, where all devices are connected and communicate with each other and an app that communicates with he end user
Cloud service
The cloud service is the heart of the system and interconnects the devices, keeping track of users, devices, usages and algorithms. It feeds the devices with instructions on how to best utilize the energy and coordinates them using different algorithms.
App
All data is presented in a simple but very informative way to the end user, so you can track how the system works, how much you gain and what the planned actions are. The system thinks for you so you don’t have to.
Devices
Everything that the system controls is called devices. Such devices can be a heat pump, a Vehicle charger, an Energy management system, Solar panels, a boiler etc. All of them are involved in producing and/or consuming energy in the house, and should work together to make the best optimization.
Algorithms
Trading
The algorithm for trading is focusing on maximizing the economy based on selling when expensive and buying when cheap. The energy produced from solar panels is primarily sold, but if the price is not the best, the energy is stored and sold later when more profitable.
Self use
The self use algorithm focuses on using the stored energy for your own consumption instead of selling the excess energy. The energy can be stored from both self produced and purchased energy if the price is right. Therefore this algorithm emphasizes the environment.
Self sustained
This algorithm is focusing on maximizing the use of your own produced energy and will not store energy from the grid but promotes self-sustainability as much as possible, leaving the storage available for production mainly.
How are we doing it?
By breaking down the barriers between different manufacturers and devices. For instance, your heating system can utilize your own electricity production to increase self-consumption instead of selling the power. Through monitoring the hourly price of electricity, we can control when we consume during the cheapest hours and sell electricity during the most expensive hours to minimize electricity costs. We also consider transmission fees and electricity network charges so that the actual price of electricity corresponds to the actual cost.
All information about your home is conveniently presented in an app, allowing you to easily track savings and gain an overview of where the energy is going, thereby becoming more aware of how you can use the energy in a more economical way - e.g., by starting the dryer when it's cheapest, which you will be reminded of in the app.
